Many of you will know that AS9120 certification is an international standard awarded to top performers in the aerospace industry. It’s a pretty demanding process and organisations are regularly reassessed to make sure they’re maintaining the right
standards.

So I’m really pleased to confirm that Nicofe has just completed our latest evaluation and passed the AS9120 Rev B certification with flying colours. I’d like to think it’s a reflection of our genuine commitment to industry best practice and
achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

The success of this approach is evidenced in the audited figures for our AS9120 assessment, which show an average of 95% on-time delivery, and product compliance and conformity of 99.7%.

Customers always want to know they’re dealing with suppliers whose credentials they can trust. In my experience, internationally-recognised and respected industry accreditations help to provide a benchmark for customers to use and give them greater confidence in the suppliers they appoint. On the other side of the coin, they’re also an indication of the supplier’s willingness to invest in their own improvement and development.

At Nicofe, for example, as well as our AS9120 award, we also have accreditations from JOSCAR (the Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register), and the Government- backed Cyber Essentials programme. JOSCAR helps to streamline procurement
through easy access to a supplier’s pre-validated business information, while Cyber Essentials provides assurance that the supplier’s digital infrastructure is secured against most common cyber attacks.

As well as honest indicators of competence and capabilities, accreditations like these give essential assurances and help to fast-track processes so that suppliers and customers can work together more efficiently.
